InPost to Buy 20,000 Battery-Powered Parcel Lockers. "It's a Real Game Changer"

InPost Group plans to install over 20,000 NEXT battery-powered parcel lockers across Europe over the next five years . The first devices have been launched in France and the UK, and additional machines will be deployed in Italy, Portugal, and Spain by the end of this year.

This partnership not only provides access to state-of-the-art technology, but also strengthens our leadership position by enabling the installation of machines in previously inaccessible locations, " said Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost Group.

Bloq.it's NEXT devices are battery-powered and can operate for 6 to 12 months without recharging . The machines feature a durable, weather-resistant design and a 10-year battery life. The NEXT solution opens up thousands of previously inaccessible locations for logistics operators, InPost explains in a press release.

Under the agreement, Bloq.it will be responsible for comprehensive delivery services, management of the NEXT vending machine network, and expert support.

Currently , the InPost Group has over 88,600 OOH points in 9 European countries, of which over 54,300 are parcel locker devices.

Throughout 2025, the group plans to expand its network by over 14,000 APMs, which includes approximately 3,000 in Poland, 4,000 in France and the Benelux countries, 4,500 in the UK, 2,000 on the Iberian Peninsula and approximately 1,000 in Italy.
